A Lasting Legacy for Public Education
The WCEF Endowment ensures that our community's commitment to education endures for generations to come. By building a self-sustaining fund, we can protect vital programs, create long-term stability, and continue enriching the educational experience of every student - no matter what changes in state funding may bring.

Why an Endowment Matters
The WCEF Endowment helps safeguard our schools from budget cuts, unforeseen challenges, and economic uncertainty. It provides a stable, permanent source of funding to help preserve what matters most in our schools - outstanding teachers, engaging classes, and opportunities that inspire learning and growth.

Our Endowment is designed to:

  • Provide long-term financial stability for WCEF-supported programs
  • Ensure flexibility to meet emerging student needs
  • Safeguard enrichment opportunities for future generations

How It Works
The WCEF Endowment is professionally managed and strategically invested for long-term growth and sustainability. Once the fund reaches $1 million, WCEF will begin distributing up to 5% of annual earnings to support district-wide programs, while reinvesting the remainder to protect the fund's strength and future impact.

Oversight and investment decisions are guided by WCEF's Endowment Committee and Board of Directors comprised of local parents.

Your Gift, Your Impact
Every contribution to WCEF makes a difference - but gifts to the Endowment play a unique role in shaping the future.
