Let's Turn Up the HEat for our schools!

Each year during Turn Up The Heat, WCEF asks familes to give what they can to support art, music, science lab, library, and elective classes - programs that wouldn't exist without community support.

To participate, simply return the flyer in the red envelope sent home with your student. Misplaced it? No problem! You can download a flyer below and/or use the donation form on this webpage. Any old envelope will work!

How much should your family donate?

☞ All gifts make a difference. This year's ask is $825 per student, or $69 per month. Every gift counts toward participation and helps our schools.

FROM TK THROUGH GRADUATION, YOUR DONATIONS MATTERS

Due to a lack of state funding resulting from voter decisions in the 1980s, public schools now rely on money raised by education foundations like WCEF TK-12.

As frustrating as that can feel, we don't want you to worry about the education your child receives in our Walnut Creek schools. Foundations like ours allow families to invest in public education with tax-deductible donations and, ultimately, invest in our community.

Well-funded schools don't just create well-rounded, prepared graduates.

Help preserve educational opportunities for the students in our community for generations to come. Endowment gifts provide a source of perpetual support for the Foundation.

Ways to give to the Endowment Fund:

Make a gift directly to the endowment using our online donation form.
Donate your vehicle. All proceeds from donated vehicles go directly to our endowment. You can learn more and donate online by visiting the Vehicle Donation Program website or call 877-999-8322.
Include WCEF in your will or living trust. Planned giving is a wonderful way to continue to support WCEF and invest in public schools.
