WCEF K-12 can be designated to receive up to 90% of your United Way Donation. Simply request a donor choice form from
your United Way Coordinator at work and fill it out with the following information: WCEF K-12 Foundation #2492, P.O.
Box 186, Walnut Creek, CA 94597.
Corporate Matching - Help Us Help YOU Get Free Money!
It is very likely that your employer has a corporate matching program and we encourage to take advantage of it! You can
check with your Human Resources department to find out. We have a partial list of
employers with matching programs, but if you don't see your employer, be sure to ask your HR department.
Stocks and Securities
Giving stock or securities to WCEF is a wonderful way to expand the amount you can afford to donate with the possibility of a substantial tax advantage for you. WCEF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and most gifts qualify as a charitable deduction for income tax purposes. As each donor's tax situation is unique, please consult your tax adviser or the IRS to determine whether a contribution is deductible. Donate Your Vehicle
Donate a vehicle to WCEF. All proceeds from donated vehicles go directly to our endowment fund. WCEF K-12 has partnered with the V-DAC Vehicle Donation Program -- a free, convenient service for converting your extra car, truck, or RV into a tax-deductible donation benefiting our endowment program. You can learn more and then donate online by visiting the Vehicle Donation Program web site or call 877-999-8322 to make your donation.
Donations in Kind
Business supporters who offer products or services as a contribution to WCEF K-12 will be granted the benefits of the sponsorship levels for which they qualify based on the volume/value of the products or services donated. Please click here to download our in kind donation form.
Memorial Tribute
Honor a friend or loved one with a special gift to WCEF K-12 on their behalf. Whether in memoriam or in tribute of a special event or milestone, this is a great way for you to show appreciation to someone special as well as an opportunity to help our schools. Volunteering
Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that will give you a broader view of your child's educational future and at the same time provide a direct benefit to them? WCEF K-12 works with all 5 elementary schools, Walnut Creek Intermediate and Las Lomas. Consequently, if you have a child in elementary or intermediate school and volunteer your time with WCEF K-12, you will begin to get a birds-eye view of what's in store. Not only that, but you will have a direct impact on your student's future education.
