Thank you to everyone who attended Play it Forward! It was amazing evening of community, celebration and music.

The evening featured the amazing sounds of:

Vocalist Jamie Davis. Davis brings a repertoire from Cole Porter to Stevie Wonder; from Big Band to Jazz to current hits. He exhibits flexibility and sexy sophistication in his effortless delivery. Davis has just returned from a sold out European tour. We are anxious to welcome him back to the Lesher stage. He will be performing with our award winning house band and our own LLHS and WCI jazz bands.

Walnut Creek's own Carlos Reyes. Reyes' charismatic personality and outstanding musical talents are a potent combination with which he performs an extensive and entertaining repertoire. He is a recording artist, producer, engineer, harpist and violinist. He has not only a renowned international musical reputation, but has also worked with such artists as Steve Miller, The Doobie Brothers, MC Hammer, Willie Nelson and many more.

Greg Errico, member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. As a founding member of Sly and the Family Stone, Errico will be performing on the drums with the house band and our featured artists. Errico's innovative use of the hi hat and bass drum helped bring about fusion of jazz and rock. In 1993, Greg was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2001 he received the R&B Foundation "Pioneer Award".

And our own Las Lomas Jazz Band, the Las Lomas Chorale, and the WCI Jazz Band! Last year's audience was blown away by the talent of our student groups.
