WCEF SURVEY RESULTS

On behalf of the WCEF Board, I want to thank the nearly 700 respondents from the WCSD and Las Lomas community who took the time to answer the WCEF online spring survey.   While most of the respondents were parents, we were pleased to hear from staff and community members as well. Click here to read about the survey results.  As you will see from the percentages that are expressed in each of the survey categories, it was easy to determine the "majority opinion" of our participants, which include the following:

• most of our respondents were parents
• most like to receive WCEF information via email
• the vast majority of K-12 funding priorities identified by most respondents are in line with current funding
• most people are very familiar with the WCEF funded programs
• the non-donors who responded would like to donate but are lacking the resources to do so
• most respondents believe a suggested donation is important but know that any donation amount is valued
• most respondents seem very aware of our various events and will try to participate in some of them next year

You can be sure that the WCEF Board carefully reviewed the results and shared them with our two superintendents, Patty Wool and Jim Negri, who work with us in a very collaborative manner in determining priorities. We invite any of you to contact us if you have any additional questions or comments.
